Each lantern can run on the included USB cable or on 3 AA batteries (not included), so you can place it on a shelf or mantelpiece with no outlet nearby. Battery life depends on usage - typically [40-60] hours of continuous use with quality alkaline batteries.

Yes. The lantern plays 8 classic Christmas carols in a continuous loop, including Jingle Bells, Silent Night, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Deck the Halls. It has three modes: snow + light, snow + light + music, and off.
4.Can I use it outdoors?
Our lanterns are designed for indoor use. They are water-filled and should not be exposed to rain, frost or prolonged direct sunlight.

Wipe the outer glass with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it immediately. Do not submerge the lantern, do not use solvents or abrasives, and avoid dropping or hitting the glass dome.
